
With the recent sharp declines, there's been frequent debate about whether the bull market in Bitcoin and altcoins is still in effect. Some analysts argue that the declines could signal a bear market, while others claim the bull market is still ongoing. The final analysis on this point came from popular analyst Michaël van de Poppe. In his latest analysis, Poppe predicted that the altcoin bear market is in its final stages and that a bull market will occur for the next 1-2 years. The analyst also said that the entire cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), still has sufficient bullish potential. Bullish Trend in Altcoins Will Continue! Van de Poppe said that the bear market in altcoins is in its final stages and is about to end. At this point, the analyst stated that the bull market in altcoins will start soon and the bull will last at least 1-2 years and then face a correction similar to the dot-com bubble. “We are currently in a correction phase. But after several months of stagnation, we are preparing for the next phase of the rise. Cycle top indicators, market sentiment and moving averages (EMAs) are not yet giving top signals. At a time when many are skeptical that the peak has been reached, Bitcoin and altcoins are actually preparing for a major breakout. Finally, Poppe noted that the altcoin market has not shown any significant movement since the fourth quarter of 2023. Stating that altcoins experienced a sharp decline as the macroeconomic environment worsened after December 2024, the analyst said that this showed that the bear market was over. “All bull markets last longer than before.
